    Apparently Jewish = “Oriental.” This was from “Film Fun,” Oct. 1917. Carmel Myers did indeed have a bit part in “Intolerance,” and more - she went on to star in more than 90 movies and TV shows, including - seriously - “Chico and the Man.” She even had her own TV show in 1951.    View high resolution

    Trailer for “A Night to Remember.” Right now, 98 years ago, they were getting ready to lower the first boats. 

    This the better movie. Cameron’s version had its merits, but it had nothing with the power of the terrified old butler comforting the child as the ship slid down.
